Marian Apparitions and Prophecies: Past, Present and Future
On January 8, 2007, my friend Christopher Bledsoe, Sr., had a most unusual encounter with the Divine Feminine in the form of three angels who healed him of longstanding Crohn’s disease. His otherworldly UFO experience is well documented in The Fayetteville Incident, a 2008 Discovery Channel TV show featuring interviews by a team of MUFON investigators. His extraterrestrial visitations are ongoing, and in 2012 the angels brought him to meet the White Lady, an ET version of the Blessed Mother.
As a former airline pilot, contracting company owner, evangelical Christian, and fearless bear hunter, Christopher is the most reliable witness to this phenomenon I have ever met. Plus, his 2007 story was confirmed by four eyewitnesses, including three members of his construction crew and his eldest son, who were all with him on that fateful fishing trip along the banks of the Cape Fear River. The TV show provides computer simulations of what they saw and an excerpt from Christopher’s regressive hypnosis session.
His experience included about 4 hours of “missing time” after seeing strange lights in the sky while walking back up along the road that led down to the river. Although he had initial amnesia to the event he was later able to recall details of being taken up in a glowing translucent spaceship by extraterrestrial beings. He remembers being put in a round chamber and bathed in a circle of light. The next day he discovered that he no longer needed to take his many medications for Crohn’s disease and has been healed of it ever since.
His story has gotten the attention of various government agencies, and he has been taken on tours of aerospace facilities where most civilians are not welcome. Once he was given a strange piece of malleable foil to hold in his hand which caused his whole body to vibrate, apparently a typical reaction that occurs when a true experiencer interacts with “off-planet” metal. The existence of such materials was depicted in the 1994 movie Roswell, but has recently been confirmed by the Department of Defense.
All these fantastic occurrences will be portrayed in a TV series that has been tied up in contract negotiations in Hollywood for quite a few years and further delayed by the pandemic lockdown. It is based on Christopher’s story and a related book American Cosmic: UFOs, Religion, Technology by UNC-Wilmington religion professor Diana Pasulka. What makes their collaboration so intriguing is Diana’s status as a scholar of Catholicism and the many messages Christopher has been receiving from the White Lady since Easter 2012.
That year, the three angels he had previously encountered led him out into his backyard where he saw a large spectral cow charging toward him. It knocked him over with great power and transformed into a shining Lady dressed in white, barefoot and hovering 3 feet off the ground. She said, “You know this is your burden you must bear,” and told him to start sharing her messages. His description reminds me of both the Egyptian mother cow goddess Hathor and the Native American White Buffalo Calf Woman.
For almost 500 years there have been reports of the Blessed Virgin Mary appearing to the most unlikely witnesses such as innocent teenagers or humble men with minimal connection to the Catholic church. These Marian apparitions often foreshadow future catastrophes such as epidemics, wars or genocides. In 1531 the Virgin of Guadalupe appeared to an indigenous Mexican peasant, Juan Diego, preceding the deaths of millions of Native
Americans due to infectious diseases that arrived with colonization.
The most famous Marian prophecies came from Our Lady of Fatima in 1917 through a series of visions received by three Portuguese children. The First Secret of Fatima was a vision of hell just before the onset of the Spanish Flu which killed millions around the world. The Second Secret predicted that WWI would end and another worse World War would occur. The Third Secret was the subject of extensive controversy as its apocalyptic message of penance and Christian martyrdom was withheld by the Vatican until 2000.
In 1981 there were two Marian apparition experiences more than a decade before horrific acts of genocide. Six Yugoslavian teenagers were witnesses to visions of Our Lady of Medjugorje years before the Srebrenica massacre in 1995 during the Bosnian War. In Rwanda, three young girls at the Kibeho College were visited by the Mother of God who gave them messages about rivers of blood and countless rows of corpses, many of them dismembered, accurately predicting the slaughter of half a million Tutsi in 1994.
I first became aware of these precognitive warnings while doing research for a parapsychological presentation on Marian apparitions I gave at the Rhine Research Center in 2006. I heard Christopher’s UFO story at the Rhine Psychic Experiences Group for the first time in 2013, as he had withdrawn from the media following release of the Discovery Channel show until prompted by the White Lady to start speaking out. His public lectures were short-lived as he soon signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement with Hollywood agents.
On Easter 2019, Christopher experienced another visitation from the White Lady with a specific prophecy for the world, so he was obligated to break his NDA and start speaking on radio and video programs again. She said we were entering into the 7-year Biblical period of Tribulation described in the Book of Revelation which certainly seems true for the apocalyptic year of 2020. It will end when the red star Regulus in the constellation of Leo rises just before dawn at eye level of the Sphinx on the horizon of the Giza Plateau in Egypt.
An astrologer with expertise in the Edgar Cayce Egyptian prophecies says the date of that star alignment will be on the spring equinox, 3/20/2026. It will mark the revelation about the return of the truth through the Divine Feminine. The Lady also said he would soon obtain more video evidence of his experiences and validation by other credible witnesses. Since then, he has been visited by numerous angelic orbs that appear over the pond behind his house and pose for his camera recordings to the amazement of many visitors.
